Recently there were reports of Apple going back to making a new generation of thinner devices. IMHO, this is Apple doing what it's best at - execution, but avoiding what they needed the most - innovation. The effort is futile. The new crazy thin iPad Pro is the proof. For iPhones, people slap on a 3mm thick case anyway even if you managed to reduce thickness by 0.2mm. Apple may as well innovate by making a 1mm case that looks great, have 10 different colors for personalization and match the protection of other 3mm cases. You'll get a much thinner device in the end. What I think they should have done instead is to increase thickness but add new features. What about new ways to interact with the devices? What about new display technology that changes how we absorb content? What if they simply make the battery 50% larger so we no long need to carry a battery pack? Or hardware features that work in conjunction with advance AI that enable us to do things that can't be done before. Personally, I think that's the right path to a better product and truly differentiated user experience.

Another great event at the forefront of electrification. A couple flew in from Georgia and another from Oregon just to see the Pebble Flow. That's what keeps us going!
