We celebrated the transition of Biogen’s Community Lab to the CoLab this week with our nonprofit partners, alumni, employee volunteers and government leaders, including Kim Driscoll, Massachusetts Executive Office of Economic Development (EOED), state legislators and city officials.    When we founded the Community Lab in 2002, we wanted to open the doors of biotech to underserved students in Kendall Square. With the CoLab, we will now collaborate with nonprofits partners and local teachers to continue to inspire students and young professionals who will shape the future of the life science and healthcare industry in Massachusetts.    Learn more about the impact of the CoLab and plans for the future: https://ow.ly/fwux50Sz2Lc #TeamBiogen | #HealthEquity | #TeamMassachusetts

If not for the Biogen Community lab course I took in the summer of 2002, I never would have grown up to be a molecular biologist! Love that it is thriving and lucky to have experienced this life changing opportunity ❤️
