Gerry Edtl #SalesTip 30: Celebrate Your Wins. I want to say something that might ruffle feathers. Your Wins in Sales are those things YOU CAN CONTROL. You cannot control how much money someone will reach in their pocket and give you. You can control YOUR ACTIVITY. So celebrate your efforts. Sales is hard work. If you wait to celebrate the end-revenue generation from your efforts, you're at risk of burnout. Celebrating daily wins can sustain and empower you to keep at it. For example, I cold call 10 people every work day. When I finish the tenth call, I celebrate by taking a stretch break and getting a hot cup of coffee. In a year I've talked to over 2,500 people! And because I made those calls, I was able to generate my highest revenue year to date, most of which came in the 4th quarter. Don't discount your daily consistent sales activity. Celebrate your efforts. The revenue will follow.
