When Jefferson presented the construction to the first continental Congress he said; "This construction is for a democratic republic. It will only work until the people decide the government can give them anything they want. Then it will become a dictatorship. And, they will surrender all their rights and freedoms to whomever is in control of the government." The progressive socialist in America have been working for decades to brainwash americans into believing the government can and should provide them any and everything they want and/or need. And, many Americans have been thoroughly deceived and brainwashed.

If you think taking care of others is such a big problem what do you call giving up all your civil liberties, right to privacy, right to fair trials, etc all because you are soooo afraid of a few brown people that you can’t think?????

2yRemember this: government actually has nothing but what it takes/steals from the people. In order for government to give you anything, it must take a lot more from you. The American dream, for 2 centuries, was to come here, go to work, without government interference, learn, earn and grow to a better life and maybe even become rich. But, for many of those who are growing up and/or coming, many sneaking in illegally, the American dream is to come, get a free ride, without working for or earning it, from a socialist government that steals it from those who worked hard, did the right things so they could have a good life. For those who say social security and Medicare are socialism, you par into social security your entire work life, to pay for them. That isn't socialism, it's capitalism. Socialism takes from those who do the right things, work, grow to earn what they have. Then socialism gives it to those people who have not worked to earn what they get in life, many of whom never intended too. Why would government do that? Power over the people. To make as many people dependant on the government as possible. To buy the votes of the foolish people who don't know and/or understand but want that free ride. People who are willing to throw away everyone's rights and freedoms for it. Progressive socialism is the new slavery, clothed in sheep's clothing but actually a den of thieves.
