Recent news highlights the severe implications of poor governance: Hannah and Colin Ingram-Moore, the daughter and son-in-law of the esteemed Captain Sir Tom Moore, have been disqualified from being charity trustees due to serious misconduct and mismanagement. This case underscores the critical role of robust governance and financial controls in maintaining public trust and ensuring that charitable funds are managed ethically and effectively.
