Celebrating Mabo Day “What is on the land, what is below the land, what is in the sea and what is under sea belongs to my people” – Mr Eddie Koiki Mabo Today, we honour Eddie Koiki Mabo and his tireless fight for Indigenous land rights in Australia. On June 3, 1992, the landmark High Court decision recognised the Meriam people's traditional land rights, overturning the Terra Nullius doctrine. Let us reflect on this historic victory and continue the journey towards justice and reconciliation. 💚🖤💙🤍 Artwork by Olaf Hajek, Time Magazine, 2020.

This Pride Month, we honour the vibrant and deadly spirit of our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander LGBTQ+SB community. From our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans Mob, Queer, Sistergirl, and Brotherboy family, your stories are the heartbeat of our community. Your journeys, rooted since time immemorial and blossoming in the face of adversity, remind us of the strength and beauty within us all. Let’s celebrate your courage, amplify your voices, and create a world where every identity is embraced with love and respect. Artwork by Wiradjuri and Birpai man, Wayde Clarke.
