We are starting recruitment for our team! Below you will find the most important information 👇
📍Who are we looking for?
We are looking for not just medical professionals to join the team, but just cool people who are fun to spend time with, who inspire, who will bring new ideas and skills to the project. You may be good/good at coordinating projects, you may have experience in high mountains, you may be great at managing a team or editing videos. Just take part in the recruitment 😉
📍 How to recruit?
The first step is to send an email to [email protected]. Write in it why you would like to join our team 🤝.
In response to the message you will get a rather detailed questionnaire from us to fill out. With it, we want to know something about you, your interests, passions, work experience (not only in medicine), experience in the mountains and a few other things.
📍 First field test
On the next stage - the first field test, we will meet on December 5-8, in the area of the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains 🏔 During the next few days we will get to know each other better, we will check, among other things, how you work in a team, how you know the terrain, your first aid skills and, in the case of those with medical training, what you know about rescue. Of course, we will inform you about the organizational details before the meeting.
📍 Between field tests
Between field tests, (but also after them) we will invite you to a series of training sessions. They are free of charge and participation is voluntary. These trainings are a good opportunity to strengthen areas where you feel unsure or simply expand your knowledge.
Training topics include: the basics of moving in the mountains in winter conditions, navigating in glacial terrain, navigation and communications, improvement workshops on Qualified First Aid, workshops on mountain medicine or the basics of climbing and rope techniques.
📍 Second field test.
The second field test will take place between February 20-23 in the Bieszczady Mountains. This stage will, among other things, test your ability to cope with winter conditions in the mountains, your resistance to stress and fatigue, as well as verify the elements we have already tested in the previous stage.
Successful completion of all stages will result in admission to the Safe Kazbek project for a candidate internship. During it, it will be necessary to go on rescue duty near Kazbek. Proving oneself on duty, positive opinion of the duty leader and other rescuers will mean completion of the candidate period and becoming a full-fledged member of the Safe Kazbek project 🏔🇬🇪🇵🇱
