Happy International Women's day! One of my favourite quotes from a very inspiring woman, Jacinda Ardern “I refuse to believe that you cannot be both compassionate and strong.” Always remember you can be and do both, you can be and do anything. International Women’s Day (IWD) is more than the celebration of women, it’s also about reflecting on how far we’ve come, and where we’re going. It’s about the collective efforts of all to celebrate and push for change. Shared ownership and accountability is what makes today impactful. Gloria Steinem, world-renowned feminist, journalist and activist once said "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organisation but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights." So make IWD your day to do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women. Today is International Women’s Day and so we wanted to mark it by creating a little video and to say thank you to the women in our business for their contribution to our continued success. Both as a business and as a society we have moved on leaps and bounds, but there is still work to be done and we are determined to make Wilson Partners an inclusive and equitable employer of choice that gives everyone the ability to be inspired, for inclusivity and to build a fantastic working environment.
