💡 The FHWA released 3 new tools to help advance implementation of the Safe System Approach (SSA). During last week's FHWA webinar, Cory Hopwood, PE, RSP2I joined a panel of presenters showcasing the 3 new tools that CS helped develop: 1️⃣ Safe System Roadway Design Hierarchy - Identify and prioritize countermeasures and strategies that align with SSA when developing transportation projects. 2️⃣ Safe System Project-based Alignment Framework - Assess roadway locations and compare potential improvement alternatives through a Safe System lens. 3️⃣ Safe System Policy-based Alignment Framework - Assess policies, plans, processes, and programs in a holistic manner through a Safe System lens.
