Today, our EmBue (Empowering Black and under-represented Ethnicities) cohort welcomed our guest speaker of the programme - Devi Virdi Devi talked us through her career journey to date, and provided some great tips to our group on how to adopt a learning mindset, how to embrace change and the importance of your personal brand. My favourite part was the quote Devi used to enable discussion: "Some people want it to happen... Some people wish it will happen... Some people make it happen" Thanks for joining us Devi, I can't wait to see the cohort put your tips into action! #weareAMS #DEI #learningmindset

📖 Historical India: Bringing forth a #story of indomitable courage and endurance. When we look for an #ideal to inspire us, someone to take our hand and pull us up from our misery of the moment, it is easy to get deluded by the glamorised and glorified representations of big names who seem to have achieved it all. Whereas if we look closer to home, we might end up finding that rare gem, whose tales of endurance have the power to remake the very fabric of #mind. A take on such a gem without getting into the history and other specifics: Guru Arjan Dev Ji An account says that being tortured at the hands of his captors through the worst possible ways one can imagine, he shows no anger or fear. Rather, remains absorbed in the sweet remembrance of his Guru's words. He sings hymns of praise during those hostile afflictions on him. One such hymn which warms the heart, penetrates the soul, offers unrecognised acceptance and releases one from bonds of agony is this 👇 Find your ideal closer to #home, you will witness strength in your very blood, it will give you the power to carry on, it will inspire you to thrive, and it will enhance the faith in yourself when you realize you are the very descendant of such great men. #inspiration #coach #coaching #mentalhealth #leadership #leader #LIPostingchallengeIndia

From whom to take inspiration?? Is it Tata, Ambani, or Bill Gates? Have you ever thought that iconic people like Tata, Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, are too iconic to take inspiration from?? When we listen to these names, there is a soft excuse we have in mind is “We are not god gifted, they are different” It becomes unrealistic to opt out their path and stay motivated by considering If they can do it, I can too! But, think like that- Rather than seeking guidance from the extraordinary alone, let's turn our gaze closer to home. The people we've grown up with—our grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, and even friends—embody stories of resilience, hard work, and success that are not only inspiring but deeply relatable. These are the individuals who've shaped our understanding of the world, taught us values, and demonstrated the importance of perseverance through their life experiences. Their achievements, often unsung, are the milestones built on dedication and love. Drawing inspiration from the lives of those we know personally reminds us that extraordinary feats are not reserved for the pages of history or the silver screen. They are achieved every day by those around us, in the quiet corners of our everyday lives. Let their stories encourage us to pursue our goals with the same fervour and heart. So, next time you're looking for a source of motivation, remember the heroes in your own life. Their lives are a testament to the fact that greatness begins with believing in yourself and the values instilled by those closest to us. So, let me know in the comment box from whom you take inspiration from? Follow Nilesh Dasri for such more content ! #financialadvisor #financialfreedom #financegoals #ambani

☀️Celebrating Indra Nooyi's inspiring journey☀️ I recently had the privilege to read Indra Nooyi's biography and wanted to share a couple of inspiring parts of her journey that resonated with me. Roots and Family Bonds: Nooyi’s upbringing in a spacious yet modest home in Madras reflects the importance of family support. The way her family rallied around each other’s dreams resonates with my appreciation for familial bonds. Family is a cornerstone for personal growth and achievement. From Madras to Yale: Nooyi’s bold move from Madras to the United States for her education at Yale was a leap into the unknown. Her resilience during those early years, navigating a foreign land without advanced technology, is awe-inspiring. As an immigrant myself , I understand the emotional resilience required to build a life in unfamiliar surroundings. In the words of an immigrant ' each day gets better and one has to just keep going as there are bigger dreams to achieve .' Dedication and Sincerity: Nooyi’s unwavering commitment to every job she undertook—her attention to detail and sincerity—earned her the trust and support of colleagues. Her work ethic serves as a powerful example. This is a true example that shows the impact of dedication and sincerity in achieving professional success. Family Values: Nooyi’s support for her terminally ill father until the end reflects true leadership. It’s a reminder that success isn’t just about accomplishments; it’s about staying true to core values. 🔥 Let’s celebrate Indra Nooyi’s journey—a testament to family, resilience, and unwavering commitment! #Inspiration #Leadership #IndraNooyi #FamilyValues #Resilience

Gratitude post Expressing gratitude is essential in acknowledging positive experiences with professionals in our field. In my interactions with various trainers, consultants, and HR professionals, it's unfortunately uncommon to witness a genuine commitment to a win-win approach. I am sure most will agree with this. Many approach negotiations solely as a means to maximize gain while minimizing investment. Seeking the best trainer for the least cost and Optimal learning outcomes with minimal effort. However, there are exceptions, and I recently had the pleasure of engaging with Ganesh Dalvi, CPF. To my satisfaction, when I mentioned my fee, there was no negotiation and it was accepted gracefully. He asked me to thank Riti Menda for it. This post is dedicated to Riti. When I first spoke to her via a phone call, her calm demeanor, professionalism, and clear leadership stood out. What truly impressed me was her unwavering commitment to a win-win scenario. She ensured my travel was comfortable, my stay in Coimbatore hassle-free, and went above and beyond to reimburse any incurred expenses. I was genuinely flabbergasted and left speechless. It's experiences like these that inspire me to embrace the goodness people exhibit. A special shoutout to Riti founder of RM Approach for being the exceptional woman she is. Keep shining your light, and thank you for setting a standard of excellence. #flawsomeme "A woman of substance does not speak of feminism. #AnjanaAdds A post that might flutter a few feathers but anyway, I am going to shoot from the heart ! 🚫 Rethinking Recognition: Why Authenticity Trumps Paid Awards 🚫 Every day, my inbox is flooded with offers from organizations wanting to award me for a fee. While the allure of recognition is undeniable, I firmly believe that true accolades should be earned, not bought. Paid awards may offer a fleeting moment in the spotlight, but they lack the substance and integrity of genuine recognition. True recognition should be a reflection of hard work, dedication, and impact, not a transaction for visibility. I choose to set a higher standard for recognition, one that values authenticity over vanity. I believe that my work should speak for itself, and any accolade I receive should be a result of merit, not monetary exchange. Let's challenge the status quo and raise the bar for recognition. Let's celebrate achievements that are truly earned and contributions that make a real difference. #AuthenticRecognition #MeritMatters #RaiseTheBar #LIPostingChallengeIndia #linkedinglobal #linkedinindia #leadership #linkedincommunity #linkedingrowth #LifeCoachAnjana #TheIncredibleYou #RENEWALism
