Transparency is a foundational aspect of driving change, particularly when it comes to inclusivity. For four years now at The Outloud Group, we have published a study to understand Black+ creator inclusivity and compensation in influencer brand deals on YouTube. I'm excited to share our latest blog post shedding light on critical issues of Black+ creator representation and pay equity in influencer brand deals: https://lnkd.in/gf3kD-Mr Key Takeaways: ==> Despite comprising 13.6% of the US population, Black+ creators are significantly underrepresented in influencer brand deals ==> Encouragingly, there's been a positive trend of increased inclusivity, with representation improving from 8.2% to 12.7% in the latter half of 2023 ==> In direct brand deals, Black+ creators were compensated 13.0% higher than the creator pool in general, highlighting the value of transparency Transparency is a key driver for improvement in inclusivity, and we're committed to playing our part. As a leading influencer marketing agency, we're dedicated to proactively seeking out Black+ creator talent and advocating for equitable compensation. But there's still work to be done.
