Bosch UK & Ireland concluded the 2023 fiscal year with almost £3.5 billion (3.99 billion euros) in consolidated sales, making the region Bosch's fourth largest market overall. This represents growth of nearly 10% over the previous year, and around 7% above pre-pandemic level. Looking ahead, Vonjy Rajakoba highlights, "The economy is showing slow growth, and forecasts are cautious on automotive production and only a weak rebound is expected in consumer spending. Bosch announced a management adjustment in the China region. The current President of the China region, Chen Yudong, will retire on January 1, 2024, and the current Executive Vice President of Bosch China, Xu Daquan, will take over. It is reported that under the leadership of Chen Yudong, Bosch China's business sales have continued to grow from 37.3 billion yuan in 2010 to 132.1 billion yuan in 2022, with an average compound annual growth rate of 11%. During Chen Yudong's tenure at Bosch, Xu Daquan and Chen Yudong worked together to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Bosch China's business, pushing the development of Bosch China's business to new heights. So far, Bosch China's intelligent cockpit platform, 100% developed by local teams, has received orders for multiple projects, and more than 50 intelligent driving projects of different levels have achieved mass production. Along with personnel adjustments and the implementation of changes in Bosch's business structure, the restructured automotive business will be renamed as Bosch's intelligent transportation business, with a development goal of an average annual growth of about 6%.
