This past month has seen transformative changes in the realm of organized real estate in Turkey ( Turkiye) : 1. TUGEM (Association of Entrepreneur Realtors of Turkey) has undergone a leadership transition, with Founding President Hakan Akdoğan handing over the reins to Serkan ŞAHİN. Hakan has taken on a new venture, launching a fresh brand in the real estate market named ROOKZ GAYRIMENKUL. 2. Mehmet KALYONCU, the President of GYODER (Real Estate Investors Association), stepped down from his position following a triumphant real estate summit. Nesecan Cekici is set to take over, bringing a new vision to the forefront of the industry. 3. GIGDER (Real Estate Service Exporters Association) saw its Founding President, Ömer Faruk Akbal, pass the leadership baton to Bayram Tekçe, marking a new chapter for the association. 4. In a significant industry move, real estate platform Hepsiemlak has entered into a strategic business partnership with Property Finder, a leading global group. This collaboration is poised to advance with Property Finder acquiring a minority stake in Hepsiemlak upon the Competition Board's approval. Additionally, Zingat, fully owned by Property Finder, will consolidate with Hepsiemlak to strengthen their market presence. 5. Endeksa is a real estate data analytics and insights platform offering value added services on location optimization. Endeksa has expanded to Portugal and Spain. Görkem Öğüt is Founding President. The Terranor Oy Management Team is ready to conquer the market as the third phase of our Finland strategy unfolds. When I started November 2020, Terranor Oy had ~14mn EUR revenue p.a. Not enough to move forward, and not too low to move backward. I called this first phase: Fight for Survival. The energy and motivation to shape the future of a rising star was high. The opportunities were right in front of us. We only needed to seize them. Decisively. Without hesitation. Because we know that winning requires taking calculated risks from the start and managing the dynamics resulting from it. This mindset characterized the second phase of the strategy: Systematic and ambitious growth. With a revenue of 39mn EUR in 2023 and the expectation to reach >50mn EUR in 2024, we have proven the success of our strategy and the capability to manage growth with its instabilities. With the full new management team in place, I am happy to announce the start of the third phase of Terranor Oy's strategy: Professionalisation and Expansion.
