To create the new Or Bleu Carte Blanche High Jewelry collection, Creative Director Claire Choisne and her team embarked on an inspirational journey to Iceland, where the waters are strong, powerful, and raw. Amidst this breathtaking scenery, water became the muse for the "Or Bleu" collection. The 26 new High Jewelry pieces are each like a snapshot of nature. To illustrate this vision, German landscape photographer Jan Erik Waider followed Claire's journey, capturing Iceland through her eyes. His photographs perfectly illustrate the parallels between the natural elements and the corresponding High Jewelry pieces of Or Bleu. Discover more about Claire Choisne's journey and the collaboration with Jan Erik Waider in our new podcast miniseries on the 'Boucheron True Stories' channel – available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. https://lnkd.in/dHnMtXvZ #CarteBlancheHighJewelry #OrBleu

Want to learn more about the artist Gary Lee Price? Gary was commissioned to design the 305-foot Statue of Responsibility in 1996 by Stephen R. Covey, aiming to have it stand on the opposite side of the country from the Statue of Liberty. He has waived his commission for the SoR. Normally, an artist would get about a 10% commission. Gary and his wife have decided to NOT take this money and instead let it be used towards the monument and the program. It's not about the money for them....see more here => https://loom.ly/BpY46ak Gary has a great story, you can get to know them more in his book, Divine Turbulence. As well as the first episode in the podcast, Responsibility Matters. Look in the bio for more information!

https://lnkd.in/epCHfwpH Join us on Arteetude Podcast Episode 204! 🎧 Essay: The Role of Effort and Authenticity in Artistic Success In the realm of art, success is often perceived as a derivative of talent and creativity. However, the journey of John Adams, an artist from West Cork, underscores the pivotal role of effort and authenticity in cultivating an artistic career. Adams' approach to organizing art exhibitions is a testament to the meticulous planning and personal touch required to engage an affluent audience. His strategy of hand-delivering professionally crafted invitations to the local elite is not merely a promotional tactic; it is a demonstration of respect for the art and the potential patron. Adams' narrative also reveals a disdain for the commodification of art, where the artist is reduced to a mere vendor, a sentiment echoed by many in the creative community. His venture into renting art to businesses is an innovative model that maintains the integrity of the artwork while providing a revenue stream. Yet, this business acumen did not align with his identity as an artist, leading to a dispassionate view of commercial activities. The dichotomy between art and commerce is further exemplified in Adams' critique of art galleries that fail to engage with the corporate world, suggesting a lack of effort in expanding their clientele. This critique extends to the realm of art education, where the demands of teaching can sap the creative energies of artist-educators, leaving little room for their own artistic pursuits. Adams' personal experiences, such as his intensive five-day painting spree, highlight the immersive nature of artistic creation. This anecdote serves as a metaphor for the all-consuming passion required to produce art that resonates with authenticity. His subsequent lifestyle change, prompted by a cancer diagnosis, reinforces the notion that life's fragility can inspire a deeper appreciation for one's craft and well-being. In conclusion, John Adams' story is a compelling narrative that illustrates the importance of effort, authenticity, and personal well-being in the pursuit of artistic success. It serves as a reminder that while talent is intrinsic, the recognition and appreciation of art often require a proactive and genuine approach. His message is powerful: create art with passion and meaning! 🏷️ #ArteetudePodcast #Episode204 #JohnAdams #WestCorkArt #ArtAndBusiness #ArtExhibitions #CorporateArt #GalleryCritique #ArtisticInnovation #CreativeProcess #ArtisticJourney #PaintingMarathon #SoberArtist #ArtWithMeaning #SupportArtists #ArtCommunity #ArtLovers #IrishArt #CorkCity #VodkaInspiration #SoberLife #CancerSurvivor #ArtTeaching #DetlefSchlich #CulturalDialogue #ArtisticExpression #VisualStorytelling #ContemporaryArtists #ArtistSpotlight #CreativeInspiration #ArtisticPassion

“The more we learn, the more we realize we don't know. We can only judge the world from our own viewpoint and our own experience.” Radim Malinic is a successful author of a number of books and I’ve long been an admirer of his work. He’s also a lovely human who’s generous with his time and his drive to inspire others. It’s been a pleasure to have known him since our first books were jostling alongside each other. Every artwork tells a story, but its true tale begins when it finds its destined owner. 🎨✨ 'Blessed in the City,' a cityscape triptych, found its home in a moment of profound serendipity and divine connection. A renowned gospel singer and art collector from Detroit was drawn to it, tears filling her eyes as she saw her destiny reflected in the painting. This moment, where art meets its owner, is what every artist dreams of. It's a beautiful testament to the transformative power of collecting art. When someone connects with our art, truly taking it all in, it becomes a catalyst, an answer, a confirmation, a solace, or a healing force. This moment marks the artwork’s completion. The journey of an artwork is a journey of purpose. It might sit in a corner, overlooked for months, or be passed around from wall to wall. It may even embark on an extensive journey and get painted over or revised. But eventually, it finds its home and fulfills the purpose for which it was created.💫 Have you ever experienced a profound connection with a piece of art? How has collecting art touched your life or transformed your space?
