April 15th through April 19th is National Work Zone Awareness Week! NWZAW is held at the start of construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. Did you know that INDOT has a renewed safety goal of reducing fatalities and incapacitating injuries on Indiana roadways by 25 percent in ten years and reducing work zone incidents by five percent?
