...now on to some business practices I've witnessed which aren't R&D related.
As the R&D businesses struggled to keep afloat financially, Daniel Robinson (CEO) thought it would be a great idea to launch a company called "Macadam & Grant" - specialising in GDPR tax provisions. Just google the words "GDPR tax provisions" and your mouth will be left wide open. It's effectively a quick adjustment on a companies CT600 (tax return) to refund tax back to protect against potential GDPR breaches/fines. With limited research on the matter, I concluded very quickly that this didn't feel legitimate. After voicing my concerns to both Daniel Robinson and Jason McKenna (Sales Director), I was groomed into believing that the way they were submitting these claims were legitimate and that I had nothing to worry about. After all, I have no experience in such matters so I took what I was told in good faith. Later it was established this was complete and utter malpractice, which is when the firm decided to halt these activities with zero notice.
Since then, mass redundancies have been handed out across all of the companies listed in my previous post. My personal redundancy package (along with circa 40 others) was a promise in writing that I would be paid 2 months pay. I received my first payment on the 7th July, however did not receive my 2nd and final payment yesterday on the 7th August. This has left me and many others in a precarious position where we are unable to pay our mortgages and bills. We received no correspondence regarding the matter yesterday until 7pm in the evening (how professional). The correspondence we received was pathetic to say the least. A generic email typed out to say that due to unforeseen circumstances, we would not be paid as planned and that they were exploring "other options".
The entire business is bank rolled by 2 individuals - Steve Christophi - whom Paul Rosser has fond dealings with - and Scott Herd. Between them they own 400-500 properties which attract rental income. However, they don't have money to pay people who are desperate and in need of what was promised to them.
The lovely and charming Jason McKenna yesterday (as substantiated by voice recordings) proceeded to lie to an ex-employee who was also desperate for his redundancy pay. Claiming he had only just taken over "Green Jellyfish Norwich" with the understanding he was only responsible for the 6 members of staff working in that office, and doesn't take responsibility for anything that happened prior. Mr McKenna, you have a lot to learn my friend. He also claimed he didn't have anything to do with "Impact Group". Unfortunately, that's not the case as demonstrated on their meet the team section of their website - https://lnkd.in/eJCfxn7p
I am hoping that I, as well as everyone else affected, gets compensated what's due to us. Any media outlets who would like further details are welcome to contact me (I have plenty of evidence to substantiate my claims).
