The final two weeks of the year can be dreadful for those of us searching for new opportunities. Job postings, interviews, and offers can slow down as many prepare to spend time with family and recharge for 2024. Yes, it slows down. It does not stop. In November, I stopped applying as I was a finalist for four roles and mistakenly assumed an offer was inevitable. While those opportunities did not work out, I have started to apply for new roles and have three interviews this week alone. One is a final round for an organization I applied to in early November and am very excited about. When I applied, I thought, "This would be awesome, but the timing might not work out." Guess what?
