Packaging design of the day ⬇ Small Beer by Lincoln Beer Company Small Beer is creatively tapping into the drink-in-moderation movement with some of the best branding and packaging work I've seen all year. Take a look at these cans. Drawing inspiration from the 'glory days' aesthetic of American light beer in the 70s / 80s, Small Beer has produced an attractive design with vintage notes that somehow feels modern at the same time. And check out the positioning statements: --- "2.5% ABV beer. For people with sh*t to do tomorrow." "Half the alcohol. Half the carbs. Half the calories. All the flavor" "Small Beer for Big Plans" "It's not the size of the beer, it's what you do with it" --- I have no idea if the beer is any good but this is solid marketing. Final sidenote: Small Beer also just feels like a really fun thing to order in a packed bar.
