Food system transformation can only be achieved through strong political determination and significant economic changes. So researchers assert as a result of their findings in a paper, “Regenerative Agriculture: An agronomic perspective”, recently published in the quarterly, peer reviewed journal, “Outlook on Agriculture ”. “…. in addition to agronomic science, our analysis is rooted in historical and political economy perspectives. These suggest that the food system is best viewed as an integral part of the much broader network of economic, social and political relations. It follows that many of the faults ascribed to the food system – including hunger, food poverty, poor labour relations, corporate dominance – will not be successfully addressed by action within the food system, but only through higher level political and economic change.”
