Speaking to a lot of experienced sales guys at the moment considering leaving (slow / steady / safe) existing roles for higher level plays. I've said a version of the below to them in each case: - If you only ever play it safe and never take a risk then expect a low-ceiling life full of mediocrity and - If you don’t create your new reality yourself then don’t complain when someone else creates it for you or when others create theirs….
