As we have noticed, they use the media in their manipulation, brainwash, and scare tactics including the "Simpson's"... obviously has an insider direction on its writing, illustrations, and accurate depiction in prophesizing of their evil premeditated chaos. Note the looting, power outage, food shortage.... and last but not least: the laser weapon. Remember the California fires, Maui, Arizona, Argentina, etc... all prime properties, aren't they? Never has Team Work been more illustrated than a group of Fur Seals driving away an Apex predator great white shark that breaches (all 3 tons of it) out of the ocean and surprises its prey. Fur seals have always been a target of great whites because of their excess fat which sharks need to have energy. Though good swimmers themselves and most times can out maneuver sharks, fur seals are still unwilling victims when caught by surprise from an attacker coming underneath as all disadvantage prey are. But through numbers, determination and Team Work, they can fight back and drive away an apex predator that hunts them ruthlessly. Time and time again, Team Work has won championships, lifted companies, solved scientific problems, freed people from oppression, elected good leaders and simple things like hitting team or district quotas and finishing deadlines. We are a unique species but we can’t do everything ourselves. If fur seals can do it to survive, we surely need a Team or a Family to succeed.

Worth re-reading this excellent OpEd by HR McMaster from back in 2013. He concludes with this excellent line, "Although the defense budget is under pressure, clear thinking about war costs nothing. What we can afford least is to define the problem of future war as we would like it to be, and by doing so introduce into our defense vulnerabilities based on self-delusion." It is disappointing that this commentary contains so many points that continue to vex military and political leaders across the West. It seems that our national security machines are not very good at identifying, learning and implementing from our failures and mistakes of the recent past, let alone a wider history of war and warfare. No subscription required because - apparently - anything written more than 36 months ago no longer has any value. How lucky we are to live in a world that can discard the cumulative wisdom of humanity up to 2021.
