Detroit, Michigan, is the most well-known. ·    Detroit is not just “the Motor City” but is also the birthplace of the first paved road in America. FIGG provided an on-site maintenance inspection for the Michigan Department of Transportation on the Zilwaukee Bridge located in Saginaw County, Michigan. FIGG inspected the box girder interior and exterior, bearings, expansion joints, abutments, and upper piers on this twin 8,080’ long viaduct carrying I-75 over the Saginaw River.
