This session was awesome thanks to the diverse and high accomplished people in the room. Success in life is about balance and to accomplish big things you need to focus but when you focus, you start to lose your peripheral vision and get more and more tunnel vision. Then the world around you changes ... The purpose of the Bend the Vector event is to reopen the peripheral vision and make sure we are working on the most important problems in the most effective and efficient ways. If we want to seriously "Bend the Vector" of progress for the most important challenges we face (which is our goal where make money falls clearly behind this higher mission), we need to get feedback from perceptive people around us (like Paul English) and listen very carefully. The pace of change in the world is continually accelerating and entrepreneurs must understand that change and change with it. This can only happen if we truly listen - and listening is the willingness to change your mind (Thank you Dave Morris). Feedback is the breakfast of champions. Thanks to all who came out and gave us their perspective. Together we will Bend the Vector!

As a graduate student at UW-Madison Dept. of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE), Danny's work introduced me to the nuanced world of behavioral economics. This knowledge inspired me to establish decision science groups at Deloitte and EY, applying these insights to enhance our consulting practices. Danny's commitment to the Alliance for Decision Education resonated with my own advocacy for better decision-making skills in our communities and highlighted the transformative power of education in improving societal outcomes. While reflecting on Danny's vast contributions, I recall his 2021 conversation with Steven Levitt on "Why Our Judgment is Flawed — and What to Do About It." In 2011, the idea for Stanford Seed was hatched. Alumnus Robert “Bob” King, MBA '60, and Dorothy “Dottie” King conceived the audacious vision that the unique strengths of the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) could help end the cycle of global poverty. Exciting News! 🌟 I'm thrilled to share that I've decided to stay at W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University to pursue my Master's in Artificial Intelligence in Business. This decision was not an easy one, as I had the incredible honor of being accepted into some of the world's leading institutions, including Stanford University,King's College London,and New York University, but having completed my bachelor's at ASU and seeing this new program curriculum and how it applies to what's currently happening around us, it felt like the right decision. Transitioning from psychology to the field of AI in Business is definitely a little nerve-wracking, but I am excited to take on this challenge. While initially this change did make me feel nervous, I now look at it differently, and believe that my background in psychology actually provides me with a unique perspective in human behavior and decision-making, which I believe will be invaluable in this field. I'm eager to explore how AI can transform business practices, drive innovation, and create impactful solutions, and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
