What an incredible start to Women's History Month at CSG! Alongside Shwetha Nagabhushan we gathered all our WE LEaD India members in APSA, Suraksha Shelter home, Kodihalli village on March 01, 2024, with over 400 rural women. Together we embraced the theme of #InspireInclusion with open hearts and minds. It was more than just a celebration; it was a movement towards unity, understanding, and empowerment. But that's not all! In addition to honoring the remarkable achievements of women throughout history, we took practical steps to make a difference in the lives of these amazing women. We distributed 275 environmentally friendly menstrual cups and reusable menstrual kits from StoneSoup.in, many thanks to Sujata Nanda who helped us in sourcing and distributing, Rupal Ralph educated them on their personal and menstrual hygiene. Varsha Gowdra’s insights on the importance of building financial independence and empowering women created awareness and knowledge to care for themselves confidently. This celebration wasn't just impactful; it was transformative. It reminded us of the power of collective action and the significance of inclusivity in creating a brighter future for all. Here's to a month filled with inspiration, inclusion, and progress!
