My most recent blog highlights the momentum that was on full display at #CiscoLive last week. It has been gratifying to see so many security partners that I have had the pleasure of working with for years, rapidly engaging and building (or re-building!) Cisco Security practices based on our straight-forward platform messaging around User, Breach and Cloud suites, with firewall as the foundation, and now supercharged by Splunk! But most importantly, while some in the industry are talking about this being the “year of the channel”, Cisco’s GTM has been channel-led since inception and we are leaning in, increasing profitability / services opportunities, and willing to engage multiple ecosystem partners (not a zero sum game) to do what is best for the customer. Finally, one thing we have heard repeatedly (and are humbled by this) is that Cisco security is back. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you!
