A sense of entitlement belongs no where- but especially not in the board of directors space, where it has been a constant paradigm since class, privilege and business first arose in human society. My test? If you truly believe you are entitled to a board position simply because of who you perceive yourself to be, then I would say no. The exam I teach is named SBR … Strategic Business Reporting. It used to be called, back in the day, AFA … Advanced Financial Accounting.
