You just don't get to learn and hear from an entire news ecosystem for 3 days in one place that often; stunning location & conductorship from Claire Stuchbery and the LINA: Local & Independent News Association people : ) Some stuff that will stick with me for a while: hearing from Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) on media diversity measurement in 2024, i.e. the heart of the advocacy work by LINA and the Digital Publishers Alliance; defining + tracking impact and how do newsrooms challenge the statu quo; experimenting for new revenue streams when you're a one-wo/man news operation; learning about the practical use of Solutions Journalism at Missing Perspectives and Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC); discovering micro media reporting models like *PS Media and debating the ins and outs of ad-based, subscriptions, donations & memberships models...

No big deal, our CTO, Spencer Peterson, just happens to be one of Utah's leading minds in AI technology and implementation. We're proud of how he builds along the bleeding edge of tech, we're proud of how he applies his knowledge to challenges facing education, and we're proud of his natural leadership for Halda, Utah, and beyond. Watching this video made me think – the more we continue to work on a myriad of projects from Video Production, Graphic Design, Creative Strategy etc, the more we realise each process may be different, but the creative thinking is always the same. What are we trying to say... with this shot, this angle, this lighting, this soundtrack, this typography, this icon, this brand messaging, this social post. This video is no exception. From the journey the viewer goes on from entering the venue, exploring the rooms to enjoying the live music – each shot adds a new aspect, a new element or a new feeling to build the larger experience. ...and with amazing events MGN events crafts, it not only provides a visually interesting result, but a conceptually cohesive production. #videoproduction #eventvideography #creativeprocess

You don't get the chance every day to sit at the same table with such successful people 🙂 Here’s what I learned last night: Success is a mindset game. With the right mindset, you grow. Without it, you don't - Alina Vandenberghe. Ensure your developers talk directly with your clients to ensure your product is successful - Alin Dobra. Great technology alone doesn’t guarantee success. You also need the right marketing and distribution strategies - Jesper Qvist and Loredana Qvist. Think globally, operate locally - Gabriel P.. A top executive with a superstar attitude might decimate an entire team - Octavian Brezoi. Never give up if you know your work is valuable - Costi Neacsu. I do messaging and positioning for SaaS companies. I need to understand how the business operates at all levels to help founders define the right messaging and positioning. It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss with such high-caliber individuals, learn about their internal processes, and discover more about their challenges, pains, and strategies.
