It would be good to know what the planned themes are for the Industrial Strategy including key sectors; regions for growth; skills & training; the support and incentives available for businesses to invest & grow. Productivity should also be a focus given it's a catalyst for better paid jobs and terms of employment. Another thing mentioned was the planned partnership between the government and business - how will the strategy be formulated in practice and who will be involved in its formulation? There also needs to be consideration about how economic growth cascades from national to regional and local levels. Done in the right way, there is the potential to grow the economy by £250bn+/year by 2029.

There's no change without accountability, acknowledgement, understanding and lessons learnt. I hear implemention of the obvious were not used with no lessons learnt and I hear nothing about accountability? I hear ommisions of corruption and exploitation but I see no understanding or hear of any accountability? We don't no why there's no accountability for what HM and you discribe or for the ommisions made.

So supportive of the new policies outlined by HM Secretary of State for Business, on the introduction of a UK Wide #industrial #strategy to boost #smebusiness especially through banning exploitative #contracts as well as dealing with larger entities whether in #localgovernment or larger corporates who make #latepayments. Also procurement opportunities for #smallbusiness to be able to apply for, so as to scale up growth.

A really good piece of interpretive comms work... bringing the formulaic announcements in the Kings Speech into an original and personal take on the 'so what' and next steps 👍

You get the feeling the service companies in the Philippines and India are going to get busier.

Cash is king in business, so banning #latepayments to SME business essential.

This all sounds very exciting ✅ Do we really have to have the awful music playing distractfully in the background of the video?
