What you value impacts your team. As a coach, mentor or leader, it's crucial to recognize the impact of our values on our team's success. Our values not only guide our own actions, but they also set the tone for our team's culture. Therefore, it's essential to prioritize values that align with our team's goals and aspirations. The values of transparency, empathy, and growth have been key in fostering a positive and productive work environment. By being transparent with the team, a trust is built and encouraged open communication. Empathy has allowed me to understand and support my team's individual needs, leading to a more motivated and engaged team. As leaders, we have the responsibility to not only achieve our own goals but also to nurture and develop our team members. By prioritizing values that promote collaboration, diversity, and inclusivity, we can create a team that thrives and achieves success together. Let's continue to inspire and elevate each other as leaders. #leadership #coaching #mentoring #teamwork #values #success

Performance reviews… time to give feedback. But are we in danger of sometimes flooding people with TOO MUCH feedback – so much that it overwhelms them? That got me to thinking that we, as leaders, should reign it in a bit. Be constructive, but don’t overwhelm. It also reminded me of the need to avoid what I call ‘righteous feedback’ – where we’re so sure that we’re right. Sometimes we’re not. I’ve been guilty of that myself in the past. So, be constructive, don’t overwhelm – and be prepared to have push-back if you’re wrong. #Feedback #PerformanceReview #PerformanceReviews #Leadership #EmployeeEngagement
