Exploring the underestimated depth behind 'How are you?' – Mr Mark's blog sheds light on the power of genuine listening. Let us all cherish face-to-face connections and truly engage. So, when I see you next, how are you?
How are you? A question we ask without really listening to the response as we hurriedly walk past each other in corridors or as a precursor to the purpose of our conversation. But does it have to be as pointless as it has come to be? Read this excellent blog post by our Secondary School Principal, Mark Taitt, who delves deep into the importance of being present in the moment, lending an ear and cherishing the chance to engage fully. http://bit.ly/2HbBvfF #TeamTBS

So many 20 years olds end up working their whole 20's to pay off student and/or credit card debts, then once they reach their 30's and want to settle down, it's like they're financially just starting off. That's not exactly the place most people want to be if they want to buy a house or have kids. How might we prevent this from ever happening in the first place? Tune in to hear the discussion!
