Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation’s Post

Last week, City of New York unveiled the groundbreaking Green Economy Action Plan, highlighting the City's commitment to eco-friendly collaboration and innovation. One of its major initiatives, the Harbor Climate Collaborative, will connect three former military assets to help find solutions, and create a path for the production of the tools we’ll need to combat climate change while creating #GreenCollarJobs and fostering sustainability along our coastlines. BNY President and CEO Lindsay Greene had the pleasure of joining Trust for Governors Island's Clare Newman and New York City Economic Development Corporation's Andrew Kimball on NY1's #InsideCityHall to discuss the Harbor Climate Collaborative and its crucial role in our city's climate mitigation efforts.
