In 2018, Rozee received life-altering news: she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer after a mammogram screening. The BSA Harrington Cancer Center team supported her throughout her journey. During her treatments, Rozee was inspired to work towards receiving her clinical license and eventually joined the team at BSA Harrington Cancer Center. She found purpose in her diagnosis and knew that her time in the chemo chair had meaning. Today, Rozee stands alongside cancer survivors, offering them the comfort of knowing they are not alone. “I'm really thankful to be here to support survivors because I know what it's like to walk in their shoes,” shared Rozee Hernandez, LCSW.
