Slingshot Knight 2.0!
It took us quite a while, for many reasons, both professional and personal, but we finally took that step!
We ironed out things we felt were lacking initially and added features for more fun and replayability.
Now that we had been able to realize our vision with the 1.0 (and subsequent updates), what was really important to us was to make sure the game was actually as enjoyable to play as we hoped for.
It was, after all, a project born out of passion.
Ironically, the greatest obstacle that stood in our way was not time, difficulty, or lack of creativity, but motivation: we were working on a game akin to a personal project during some of the more difficult times of our lives.
All three of us were job-seeking, with no end in sight.
Two of us had to find temporary jobs outside the industry, while I recently decided to go back to the drawing board. I started 3 more years of studies in computer sciences to enter the industry through a different door.
Enough said about these troubles, we are all aware of how tough the game industry is on junior job seekers, so let's get to happier topics.
