Admit it! We're all guilty of a little tech bias. It's easy to favor the tools and tech that have shaped our career, right? Take me. The technologies I’ve worked with, the practices I’ve honed, all have a special place in my core technical beliefs. I've passionately built my career around them. But here's the shocker: Tech is a capricious being. It changes, it evolves, and it asks us to adapt along. Sticking firmly to our comfortable, familiar tech stacks? That's a one-way ticket to becoming obsolete. No one wants to fade into antiquity in a world that’s relentlessly sprinting forward. It's time to challenge ourselves, to rethink our tech biases, and dive headfirst into the depths of innovation.

🚀 Let's talk about technology... 🌟 In a world driven by innovation and advancement, technology has become the beating heart that keeps us all connected and moving forward. It's not just about gadgets and gizmos; technology is the invisible force shaping the way we live, work, and interact with the world around us. 💡 As we navigate through this digital landscape, it's essential to pause and reflect on the impact that technology has on our lives. Are we leveraging technology to enhance our human experience, or are we becoming slaves to the very tools that were meant to empower us? 🌐 Technology has the power to bridge gaps, transcend boundaries, and unlock endless possibilities. But with great power comes great responsibility. How can we ensure that the technology we create and embrace aligns with our values and serves the greater good? 🔍 Let's not get lost in the sea of bytes and pixels; let's remember that behind every line of code and every algorithm, there are real people with real stories, dreams, and fears. Technology should augment our humanity, not diminish it. 🚦 As we fast forward into an increasingly digital future, let's not forget the simple pleasures of analog life – a handwritten note, a face-to-face conversation, a moment of stillness in a noisy world. Technology is a tool, not a master; let's use it wisely. 💬 What are your thoughts on the role of technology in our lives? How do you strike a balance between embracing innovation and staying connected to what truly matters? Share your insights and let's spark a meaningful conversation. The future is in our hands, let's make sure it's a future we're proud of. #TechTalk #Innovation #HumanityAndTech

The internet is inundated with posts and articles on Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and how technology is intuitively telling us what we want to see. While these are sure exciting times ahead, I heard a TED Talk, which had a refreshingly different perspective on what technology should be doing in the future. It greatly appealed to my finer sensibilities, and probably my personal inclination to not let technology take over our lives. The Race for Our Attention: There's a hidden goal driving the direction of all the technology we make, and that goal is the race for our attention. It's not just taking away our agency to spend our attention and live the lives that we want, it's changing the way that we have our conversations, it's changing our democracy, and it's changing our ability to have the conversations and relationships we want with each other. We need to recognize is that the human architecture is limited and that we have certain boundaries or dimensions of our lives that we want to be honored and respected, and technology could help do that. Is technology basically only asking our lizard brain what's the best way to just impulsively get you to do the next tiniest thing with your time, instead of asking you in your life what we would be most time well spent for you? Could we use Artificial Intelligence to do an amazing job of optimizing the preferences of things that we really care about when we think about them, versus the preferences of what we just instinctively click on? These are just a few thoughts from the talk. Listen to the entire talk to understand the possibilities that lie ahead. https://lnkd.in/dviqFyuJ

Hello Everyone 😊 . I found myself having an interest conversation with a friend this other time and basically I found myself wondering thereafter. 🤔 As we seamlessly integrate technology into every aspect of our lives, I find myself pondering its profound impact. Does our tech-driven existence herald a utopian future of limitless possibilities, or does it come at the cost of our autonomy and privacy? Are we architects of our technological destiny, or do we risk becoming slaves to the algorithms we've created? On one hand, enthusiasts (Like myself 😅) celebrate the boundless possibilities technology offers, from artificial intelligence shaping industries to the establish of information through the internet. On the other hand, skeptics raise concerns about data surveillance, algorithmic biases, and the potential erosion of our authentic human experiences. So, where do you stand on this spectrum? Do you see technology as a powerful ally, propelling us into a brighter future, or are you wary of the potential pitfalls it may bring? What are your insights, concerns, or perhaps your own vision of the tech-infused world we're shaping? 🤖 #FutureTech #TechReflections

I make movies. For entertainment, for marketing, and to train complex skills no one else can. Hire me when you need media that's GUARANTEED to work.
So many tech companies STRUGGLE to market themselves effectively—to demonstrate why we need them and how they can enhance our lives. Instead, they often do the opposite: showing ways their services actually diminish what is core to the human experience. Remember to position technology in terms that TRANSLATE the technical to the human, not that it will REPLACE the human. Sounds easy enough, yet so many BIG companies get it wrong. And constantly.
