The ASHE Central Ohio Section recognized ODOT District 6 and City of Columbus’ FRA-71 Project 3B with the Project of the Year Award in the $10M category! Designed by B&N, the project is part of the multi-billion-dollar Columbus Crossroads project aimed at rebuilding and improving the I-70/I-71 Split in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Project 3B replaced and widened the Broad Street bridge over I-71, eliminated the lane drop on I-71 south just before Broad Street, and extended Elijah Pierce and Lester Drive from Long Street to Broad Street. These improvements significantly improved overall vehicular mobility in the area. Congratulations to the project team on this achievement!
