It has been a while since I posted an update to my professional network. Many people have gone thru difficult life challenges (might be now or will in the future)… so offering encouragement and an update on the progress my daughters have made. Ava and Eden take care of each other and also look out for me. We appreciate all of the prayers, outreach of support and check-ins. In addition to the typical life ups/downs, life has included ongoing grief and new grief the last 12-18 months, but they/we have continued to evolve. Spending time with family, friends and their/our team, doing things that bring smiles and laughs, having time to reflect and express emotions, doing new things, traveling, getting thru comfortable and uncomfortable situations, and moving forward with continuous improvement have all made life work. Ava …has maintained honor roll (including honor classes) …spiritual grounding embedded in day to day life at school and beyond …just completed a 1 week immersion experience at Indiana University living on campus and taking Kelley business classes, her team finished 2nd place in the business case competition. …HBCU experience included touring Spelman campus in Atlanta …just became part of the “Sweet 16” birthday club …has mastered some amazing culinary skill food dishes at home …will continue Spanish as 2nd language …and will be hitting the road after completing driving school Eden …has maintained straight A’s in school …spiritual grounding embedded in day to day life at school and beyond …has mastered playing the viola …showed up and showed out as the MC for a speech festival …has mastered the “back seat” driver role …has mastered some amazing culinary skill food dishes at home …will start Spanish as a 2nd language …will be joining the “teenager” club later this year Beyond the day to day a few out of the norm life experiences … Music and concerts have become a new thing including Drake and Bryson Tiller. Experiencing life traveling has been much needed “get aways” from the norm. The clock is ticking with them as my boss, but I look forward to when that means I get paid to work for them. Wishing everyone smiles and laughs as often as possible.

Excited about what we are doing to accelerate success for CHRO's. There has never been a more exciting or challenging time to be a new chief human resources officer. Spencer Stuart’s new CHRO Xcelerator Fellowship is a bespoke 12-month program helping new CHROs achieve world-class performance while expanding their peer network. The program combines in-person, immersive experiences, as well as virtual group gatherings to provide the foundation for long-term success. The inaugural EMEA cohort will launch in autumn 2024 on the heels of the very successful launch of the first North American cohort in April 2024. This year has been challenging with the loss of the kids grandfather and aunt. And now we grieve the death of my 21 year old nephew, Ky-Rhee Burt Page. Still doesn’t seem real. Hoping for a text, call or chance to be with him again. Forever loved, will be forever missed. Many family, friends, mentors, colleagues and others have invested in my personal and professional life for many years. And that pay it forward mindset has held true for our life. I have met many amazing people seeking life and career advancement as well as many people playing a role in making that happen for others. To my extended community, I thank you for being part of the journey for next generation leaders including KyRhee. Much gratitude to those who have been part of key life experiences for KyRhee including but not limited to: -Bring Your Kid to School experiences -spending a Week as a college student while still in high school -college planning and visits -career exploration options in financial services, accounting, consulting, technology and psychology -Friendly faces and greetings during travel For those who can get to your loved ones, DIGYAH.
