I've heard several people claim that it would be impossible to have a mini-primary, including debates, and for Democratic Party delegates to then choose a candidate for President who is not Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. That's not true. And as an entrepreneur, I am generally highly skeptical whenever anyone makes absolute claims about what is or isn't possible, especially when it seems logical that there might be another way forward. https://lnkd.in/gkpvmyDT
Realpolitik. We are quite literally facing a virtual fascist take over of the Democratic process if we lose in just over 100 days. And the VAST majority of convention delegates want Harris and want to get up and running and public opinion polling gives us a strong indication that a progressive voters agree. What you are suggesting would be chaotic and divisive. Voters had their say in the primary and convention delegates have had a chance to weigh in: Harris is the unified choice. There is nothing undemocratic about that.
"Always a way!" Love to hear it
There is always a way forward, especially as an entrepreneur
So true bud! There is always a way. The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and kicking.
SF in 2003 was an embryonic place and time for the future of the party

1moThe debate among the news corps is mistakenly focused whether or not he is capable of serving for more years. It’s a distraction from the real issue, which is that he is unelectable. Independants, and most importantly, young people, will not show up for him at the polls. There is no passion as there was for Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. Leaders keep deferring to the fact that it’s Biden’s decision to make. It can’t be left to him to make this decision. He is unelectable and the party needs to intervene quickly.
