Two clients messaged this last week to share that they'll be starting new roles soon. It's amazing to have helped them work out what they wanted from their work right now and enable them to go out and get it. We didn't set out to change their jobs. Instead we wanted to figure out: - what their ideal life looked like (both work and personal) - what they enjoyed and didn't enjoy about their role - what their options were - how they could go about making things feel better They got super intentional about the next phase of their life. And in knowing what they wanted and taking targeted action, they now find themselves about to start something new. And this something new aligns with what really matters to them. It might be: - a better mix of work and personal hours - where they get to work - setting them up for a better trajectory on an adjacent career ladder  - the ability to learn new skills - in a role or organisation that feels more exciting I'm so excited for them! Here’s a quick peek into my life for the past 13 months:

When I started my new job about seven months ago my son began his sophomore year of high school. As luck would have it, they were on the same day and I had to travel to Arizona during the first day of school. Since starting my son: 1. Ran away from school, almost got hit by a car (as he was running away) and was found by the police. 2. Got in trouble with the law and picked up new charges. 3. We as a family endured a great deal of teen drama that added a few white hairs to sparse collection of hair on my head and facial hair. 4. My son was thrown out of this third school. During this time I have also: 1. Achieved great milestones in my professional career. 2. Learned to challenge that I thought was the status quo and grown professionally. 3. I am spending more and more time out of my comfort zone as I help navigate the organization to greater efficiencies. 4. Achieved the highest levels of professional performance in years. How? Two things: 1. When I need to take time off for a family issue my leadership simply said go and deal with it. 2. When I needed to talk thru things my leadership and other members of the organization always made time for me. I say this because we all hear that a few kind words and kind actions speak volumes and pay dividends. The intent of this post is to give a specific example of what happens in reality when we are kind. I for one will never forget the compassion shown to me when I needed it the most. As a result, I repay it daily with a zeal for what I do and my job.

A few months into my new part-time job….. Recently I was selected as Director of Operations and Quality Control in the Diaper Division at Haynes Inc., I’ve gained insight which has helped me grow as a professional. Here are five beneficial truths I’ve further cemented in life and in business: 1.     Patience truly is a virtue. 2.     It can get messy…. breathe, proceed promptly with dignity and grace. 3.     In a collaborative effort, always be aware of your team member’s needs via communication and transparency. 4.     Not all cries are created equal- listen carefully to find the solution to the most glaring problem. 5.     The power of a smile has the ability to transcend words.

I like to write codes for Critical Systems. I like to write codes that Analyze waves and its Frequency components with DSP algorithms. I like write Firmware for Engines. I like to Write critical parts of an application, that communicates with the Operating System through System Calls. I like to Write Drivers Thats why i choose #Rust

"My Journey: From Failure to Learning It took me a long time to come to terms with the fact that my business, Rashiv Fashions, didn't work out as planned. Entering this industry as a newcomer, the recent layoff has added an extra layer of challenge to the journey. It's more than securing a new role; it's about navigating uncharted waters with the weight of uncertainty. The prospect of competing for positions requiring 1-2 years of experience against candidates with 5+ years is undeniably intimidating. This field, which I've recently begun to explore, has become a career I can envision a future in. Yet, there's an unsettling fear that this path might be abruptly snatched away. The job market is flooded with stories of layoffs, making it feel like I'm a small fish in a vast and competitive ocean. What's particularly striking is that almost everyone I've met in the industry is now finding themselves in the same precarious position. Each day brings new challenges, and the fear of losing this newfound career path is palpable. The narrative on TikTok is filled with posts about layoffs and individuals enduring prolonged job searches. To be frank, it's disheartening to witness. Instead of succumbing to the negativity, I'm channelling my energy into constructive pursuits, aware that many others in my position are facing similar struggles.
