We talk a lot about how passionate the Target team is about treating cyber as a team sport. Well, that passion doesn't just apply to the work itself, but also to our workforce. Collectively, we are facing a shortage of 500,000 cybersecurity professionals. On top of that, we see women and underrepresented professionals leaving the profession at a faster rate, further exacerbating the problem. Yesterday, the Office of the National Cyber Director hosted a discussion on this topic with teams from across the public and private sectors. Target was invited to share some of the innovative ways we give back to boost the cyber workforce. It was an honor to represent our team and share Target's passion to build a thriving cyber workforce where everyone has a strong sense of belonging. Thanks to the ONCD and everyone who showed up with so much dedication to solve this problem.
