I’ve been playing with it all day and while it takes some finesse with how you word the prompt, what it is capable of is seriously insane. Runway just released their new AI video creation tool called Gen. 3A. This tool can produce videos very similar to Sora, if not better, and it's available for anybody to use right now. Watch this video. So insane. Gen. 3A is Runway's newest video model, which produces high fidelity controllable video. Damn. To use Gen. 3A, head to the text or image to video tool and select Gen. 3A from the model dropdown. Then in the prompt box, let's add a prompt close up of A smiling young woman with curly hair on a dusky beach at the ocean blurs in the background, bathed in deep blue twilight, creating a serene atmosphere. With Gen. 3A, you have the option to create a 5 second. Video or a 10 second video which you can select from this button here. Generation times with Gen. 3A are quite fast, about 60 seconds for a 5 second generation and 90 seconds for a 10 second generation. Wow. That's a 3A was trained on highly descriptive, temporally dense captions. Basically, the more detailed you can make the text prompt, the more Gen. 3A will shine. The description can include anything about the subject, scene, lighting, camera movements, and so much more. In addition to visual details, Gen. 3A can be prompted for subject action, camera action, speed transitions, and more. For example, you can prompt a high speed, wide FPV shot approaches a rocky seaside cave. Enters The Cave and emerges in an Arctic landscape with glaciers and snow capped mountains. Hyperlapse cinematography. Let's see it. Whoa, OK. Gen. 3A will work with a wide variety of prompt structures from Super Simple. Two more complex. But if you're looking for some inspiration, you can try separating your prompt into a visual description and a camera motion description visual. A pillow Fort in a cozy living room. The pillow Fort is made from an assortment of quilts, fabrics, and pillows. Camera motion handheld cameras smoothly zooms into the entrance of the pillow Fort, revealing an ancient castle in the interior. That's so cool. Dang. That was incredible.

2023 vs 2024 AI Text to Video 🤯 Can you even imagine what 2025 would look like? In the video below, the top part is the infamous video of Will Smith eating spaghetti that became a troll on the internet. The bottom video is what you can now generate using Sora AI with a simple text prompt. The stability.ai image to video models just came out a few days ago. I used a prompt to generate an image and then fed that as input to the new models. The result is absolutely amazing! #ai #machinelearning #aiartwork #stablediffusion

Nothing humbles you quicker (or gets the blood pressure rising) than having to use AI to perform a basic human function 🖐 In this case: have a hand (a known problem with AI) to count down/up from 0-5 and have a hand twisting/untwisting a bottle cap open. Sure, this could have been achieved MUCH quicker using a live action shoot (as it should have been without a doubt) but for research purposes and truly breaking and testing your knowledge - this was fun. #gen3 #research #ai

I'm a little late to the party but finally tried using Luma AI. It's neat! Although you can get some nightmare fuel out of it sometimes... Unsurprisingly, the lack of control and consistency rules this out for any real work (for now), but I could see this being useful for simple b-roll shots once it gets better. Runway for the first shot though, 'cause I was lazy :) ElevenLabs for the very random VO. Midjourney just to put together a few images to use... I don't use it that often (time to cut the subscription?) but didn't really have great results trying to use the character reference feature. #lumaai #ai #generativeai #videoediting
