My wife gets mad whenever we go out to dinner because I ALWAYS ORDER PASTA. She says that the restaurant loves me because of the low food cost and high margins but I simply can’t stop myself. I love pasta...... So later today, January 4th we’re going out to celebrate National Spaghetti Day. And I’ll tell her facts like: ·      Spaghetti traces its roots to Italy, where it has been a staple for centuries. The word "spaghetti" comes from the Italian word "spaghetto," meaning "thin string" or "twine." ·      Americans consume about 20 pounds of pasta per person each year, with spaghetti ranking among the top choices while in Italy pasta consumption can reach 60 pounds per person annually. I don't always eat Ahi, but when I do, it's usually more rare... The flavor of some foods is such, that you can't do much to enhance it, you can only screw it up. Ahi tuna is one of these. So when I prepare it, I may put it over noodles that are somewhat elaborate, but as for the tuna itself, I don't add very much. In the kitchen, it is folly to make things any more complicated than they need to be. If you have too many competing flavors, then there's nothing to really stand out. The same can be said of business, and really of life itself. It's not about you, it's all about the tuna.
