This is great news! So eager to see where @Riskonnect goes with this as Camms provides focus on the business performance, objectives, and strategy which are critical to doing #GRC and particularly #riskmanagement correctly. After all, ISO 31000 states that "risk is the effect of uncertainty on objectives." The official definition of GRC in the OCEG GRC definition is that "GRC is a capability to reliably achieve objectives (#governance), address uncertainty (risk management), and act with integrity (#compliance)." It all starts with governance and objectives, and then performance against those objectives. It does NOT start with risk. This acquisition makes Riskonnect one of the few providers that are NOT putting the cart before the horse in GRC and getting it backward. This enables Riskonnect to provide more value to the business in the context of strategy, performance, and objective management and with that business management that delivers GRC and risk management in that context.
