Starting in 1972, 16 partnering companies found a way to save, every year: :: Over 1 billion gallons (4 million m3) of groundwater by using surface water :: 586,000 metric tons of CO2 (an 80% reduction since 2015 compared to expected emissions without the partnership) :: 62,000 metric tons of residual materials recycled Their local energy supply is also carbon neutral. 50 years have passed. Why aren’t these partnerships everywhere? Let's change this. Watch our quick presentation on why and how. https://lnkd.in/gGADGcQ8 #energytransition #optimization #decarbonization #climatechange #industrialecology #industrialsymbiosis #circulareconomy #regenerativeeconomy

Incredibly powerful tool that quantifies the measures that matter- VMT, GHG, equity impacts, and many others. Perfect for use in LRTPs, MTPs, corridor studies, and so many other applications
February is Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) Month, and we're excited to spotlight VisionEval, an open-source scenario planning tool that measures outcomes that traditional tools cannot. With the Federal Highway Administration finalizing its rule that establishes greenhouse gas (GHG) performance measures/reporting rules for state departments of transportation (DOTs) and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), VisionEval's relevance has never been greater. As FHWA's recommended tool for identifying different pathways for achieving GHG reduction goals, VisionEval is an essential element for state DOTS and MPOs looking to set and report on their emissions reduction targets. At RSG, we're nationally recognized experts in VisionEval's development and deployment. We’ve applied VisionEval across the United States and can help our clients tap into the open-source tool's full range of capabilities. Want to learn more? Reach out to Jim Brogan or Jonathan Slason, P.E. to schedule a call. #VisionEval #TransportationPlanning #ScenarioPlanning #StrategicModeling #GreenhouseGas #GHG #ClimateChange #FOSSMonth #OpenSource

A great memory from #WEFTEC2023 with John Cockerill and Tomorrow Water celebrating the launch of our global partnership agreement. Under this agreement, John Cockerill will market and apply TW’s Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP)/Hydro-Thermal Carbonization (HTC) systems “Draco” in key European markets and Tomorrow Water will market and apply JC’s Continuous Aerobic Granular Sludge (AGS) process “BeFlow GS®” in the U.S. Reflecting on Paul O'Callaghan of BlueTech Research, Radical collaboration is needed to shift away from making the environment “less-worse” and “towards initiating regeneration”. The challenges are too big, and the stakes are too high to go it alone. Our aim is to accelerate access to innovative and cost-effective technologies globally with like-minded partners who share our vision! Christophe Cassant E.F. Dongwoo Kim
