Not only do most camps end early, but camp isn't available after August, leaving most families to cull together childcare or work with the kids at home.

Camps where I live also start after July 4th and end before school begins. There are only half day camps at the schools. Park and rec camp ends at 4 but also fills up quickly. Working from home can be a life saver.
