This week, Blockboard will begin marketing BlockAI and hand-hold the Advertising industry on the use of AI to accelerate marketers’ outcomes. First stop: Vayner Media. I’ve launched ER at Warner Bros., Survivor at CBS and introduced the first online video network and first video ad server BBE and VINDICO, but I’ve never been more excited than I am right now #BlockAI #Blockboard

Blockboard’s Veecon has been transformational. We’ve aligned with Gary Vaynerchuk and identified several brands who are dissatisfied with Digital Advertising’s status quo. The tech stacks starting with TradeDesk and Google’s DV360 simply don’t work. Here’s to a much brighter future in AdTech. #blockboard

Skiff (acquired by Notion) as previously mentioned and for those who are following.... Has taken the path to monetization. Which is a huge blow to the privacy community. Cloaked hasn't hesitated to capitalize on the loss by advertising their suite of paid services (currently with a 7 day free trial) Proton still boasts to be the main event, yet continuously through my professional experience, their services both paid and free never surmounted to what Skiff offered. Who will win the advertising campaign, or step up to the table and provide users a tool to control their own personal data and privacy? So far, my most will be missed; Non-perishing accounts, no account verification, Aliases (partners well with many tools), Drive, Pages. I will be actively weighing options for bandaid solutions until a replacement comes (or not). Sadly, today there are no companies close to what Skiff provided. Stay aware out there!

YouTube going to be injecting ads directly into the video stream (ads are now part of the video, not laid on top) circumventing your ad blocker which of course works client side. Wonder if this will lead to AI augmentations to ad blockers to strip out these parts of the stream. Would make this kind of software substantially more complicated.
