We are thrilled to celebrate Honeywell as our 2024 Donor of the Year! 🎉 CYC’s partnership with Honeywell is rooted in a shared commitment to community investment, education, and youth empowerment. A hallmark of this high-powered partnership has been Honeywell's multi-faceted support of CYC. This year, its employees actively engaged as Young Professional Board members and mentors to Fellows. CYC juniors and seniors had the opportunity to visit Honeywell's state-of-the-art HQ to learn about various career pathways. Additionally, Honeywell employees assembled over 300 care packages filled with essential items for College Fellows during midterm and final exam periods. The highlight of our partnership was the invitation for 10 CYC Fellows to participate in the Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. This unique week-long experience exposed students to hands-on STEM activities and leadership development. From zero-gravity simulators to high-flying ropes courses, Fellows honed their problem-solving and teamwork skills while meeting students from across the globe. Accepting the award for Honeywell was Randell Nairn, MBA, Honeywell employee, and the incoming CYC Young Professional Board President. We are grateful for Honeywell’s partnership and look forward to working together to empower the next generation of hashtag #futureshapers! #cyctorchawards #everydreamneedsateam
