The Referral Trap . . . . . 2-3 Year's back, When I was working for an agency, We were looking to outsource some of our marketing video work, but finding a good agency proved tricky. We searched the web a lots, but nothing felt quite right for us. Then, one of my colleagues suggested an agency – not the best of course (We read some reviews that were not good), but someone we trusted recommended them. It made me think – sometimes, in business, we rely on referrals a little too much. We trust someone's word blindly, just like we might trust someone's skills based on their resume and certification. 😉 But what if there's a better way? To measure it? Always do your own research! Don't underestimate the power of due diligence. The best weapon for learning something.⚔️ Just like flashy marketing doesn't always guarantee quality, a good referral isn't a shortcut. Take the time to research, ask questions, and find the perfect fit for your needs whether its business or personal needs always do due-diligence. Make a detailed list of all the questions and outcomes whatever you want. What are your thoughts? Have you ever fallen into the referral trap? #Marketing #Outsourcing The image is just for attraction it's not me... 😂😜 all rights reserved always for the right owner.

One mistake I see small business owners do all the time with their websites or marketing is they assume their clients/customers know what they do. But one principle I learned as a journalist that I now use in marketing is this: assume your reader knows nothing (about your business). When I meet with a new client, one of the first things I do with them is walk them through their website and show them what I would see as someone who knows nothing about their business. ✅ Does it spell out very clearly what you do and how you’re different? ✅ Does it explain why your product or service is important and how it can solve their problem? ✅ Is there a clear call to action so they know how to buy your product or set up an appointment? This may seem obvious but it actually can be hard to separate yourself from something you’re an expert in (your business) and see it from the perspective of someone else (who knows nothing). If you’re unsure if your website or marketing is unclear by looking at it yourself, enlist some help. Ask a friend to look at your website or marketing and ask them to: ✅ Tell you what they think you do. ✅ How it could help them. ✅ How they can hire you or buy from you. If you’ve done a good job, then this should be easy for them. If there is any confusion, it’s time to work on your messaging. Need help? Let’s chat.

Referrals sound boring. But they're incredible at printing high-quality clients. Here’s how to set up your own referral network for your agency: You see, most people in key positions at brands/companies know other key players at other brands/companies. Ex. a CMO knows other CMOs. Also, making an extra $2-5k/mo. can mean a lot for that individual when they're paid for making a referral. 4 Step 1: Identify Who’s In Your Network Who do you know that’s influential/connected to your target market? ↳ Other Agencies ↳ Decision Makers At Other Brands (my personal favorite) ↳ Freelancers who work for brands/businesses Step 2: Identify who they have access to ↳ See if there’s any business in particular you want an introduction to they are connected with ↳ Ask them for help identifying who might be a good fit based on what and who they know Step 3: Negotiate the deal ↳ Typically 10-15% of the first months contract with a smaller recurring % each month is very intriguing. It’s like passive income just for sending an introduction. ↳ Get an agreement drafted outlining the terms of the deal and what’s required of both parties. ↳ They now essentially become a contract based sales position for you. Rinse and repeat. The end goal is in essence a contract sales team of 15-20 people hunting for new business for you throughout their networks. Have you tried this referral strategy?

Great news for #workingmoms + other #entrepreneurs: a growing interest in project-based work and/or fractional roles for marketers. ^^ What allows me and Achieving Good Communications Co. the flexibility to do important work that makes a difference AND be more available in my daughter's formative years to hear questions like yesterday's gem: "Is dragon fruit for dragons?" https://lnkd.in/eCaagY4V #smallbusiness #solopreneurs #workingmom #marketing #communications

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜? My name is Quan and I found a system where I only have to spend 4 hours a week to get 20-30 appointments with business sellers. Most people people have this common belief that if you want something you must work till you collapse to get it. People like David Goggin, Bill Gate, and Steve Jobs are all hard workers that succeeded and society pushes this belief as well. hard work is the only option. laziness is not tolerated. Don’t waste your time and work. However, there are people like Elon Musk, Warren Buffet, and Drake who have attained wealth in such a short amount of time. That led me to ponder on a loophole in the system at first, I thought that they were all outliers and they were gifted when they were born However, after studying the work that they do I’ve learned a groundbreaking fact Something that changed my life they all LEVERAGE their time each and every one of them has some system And all are automated With this knowledge, I’ve created an automated SMS system that is constantly pumping out 400-500 messages A DAY without me lifting a finger. Now my one hour can generate 10-20 business sellers consistently Let me give you three tips on how to leverage Invest in a tool (GoHighLevel is a popular one) hire a copywriter to create a couple of usable messages split test and find the best message increase the volume by using the tool that you bought If you want 5-10 business sellers per month on autopilot book a call with me below https://quantomd.com/home
