#InTheNews What’s top of mind for employers when it comes to cancer care? Skyrocketing costs and wanting better health outcomes for their employees. Our founder and CEO Sach Jain spoke to these concerns and what employers are really looking for in oncology solutions, with Lily Peterson at BenefitsPRO. “Evaluating new and innovative solutions is only made more difficult when there are so many options, many of which are less mature and thus riskier to implement. Self-insured employers are looking for comprehensive solutions with a breadth of network across geographies, cancer types, and wraparound services.” Here are more insights from the discussion. https://lnkd.in/ev2g-Dnc #cancercarebenefits #employeehealthbenefits #cancercarecosts

This country profits off of making us sick. An unhealthy society is not feasible. Eventually, a sick society will be unable to work, and therefore unable to feed into capitalist greed. You can’t profit off dead people. Only sick ones. This is a messed up system that will eventually lead you to the collapse of the society and capitalist economy. It is cheaper to keep a society healthy, than to heal a sick one!!! A healthy society makes for a healthy economy. A sick society will eventually lead to a sick economy!!!

One of the reasons I advocate for cancer patients so fiercely is because I find it is completely unacceptable that so many people are forced into financial ruin because they cannot afford the costs associated with life-saving treatments for their illnesses or diseases like Cancer. Cancer treatment should not be financially toxic. It's time we address the issue of over 40% of cancer patients facing bankruptcy due to unaffordable medical bills caused by inflated prices. We need a comprehensive approach involving both healthcare providers and policymakers alike if we want bring down skyrocketing drug prices and give everyone access quality care without breaking their banks account balance sheet! Oncologists agree: no one should go broke trying save their life! #cancerisanasshole *Representative Ro Khanna thank you for bringing attention to this issue.
