So, so many others are so good at crafting incredible sentiments regarding Pride Month. Admittedly, I frequently have found myself at a loss for words to convey exactly how I feel every June. So, rather than spinning you a yarn about Pride holistically, I'd rather take a moment to say: I am so, so proud of everyone who has had the courage to be their authentic selves; furthermore, if you are someone who is presently unable to embrace your authentic self, please, please know: To the best of our ability, we've got you, we see you, we love you, we're proud of you. Because there was a point in my life where I was trapped living in a cage of my own flesh, wondering when the door might open to let me out. I spent so many nights battling painful thoughts that flew haphazardly around the inside of my skull like bats across the night sky. Don't listen to those thoughts. They have nothing to offer you. I've learned so much about myself in the years since coming out as transgender. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn, that life isn't easy and maybe it isn't always supposed to be. But let it be known: I am proud, not just of myself, but of my entire community and allies. If you are someone who needs support, please never hesitate to reach out. 🌈💜 #Pride #LGBTQ+ #Authenticity #Support #Love #Community

We couldn’t have said it any better, we too are proud of everyone who feels free to live authentically. Thank you for bringing your most authentic self to work each day Cassandra Riddle!
