What if we revived luxury to mean: Beautifully crafted products made from raw materials sourced impeccably from regenerative farms/ ranches in a way that improves livelihoods of land stewards. Assembled with great care in facilities that provide living/ thriving wages, with worker protection and healthcare benefits. Marketed and sold by a company that believes that design can be a force for GOOD, while having a good profit margin. Here’s the thing, luxury giants have the margins to do this and more. The sad truth is, greed and golden handcuffs built into the organizational structures keep them from doing so. Fashion is in such need of a Revolution. So onward we go Range Revolution https://lnkd.in/gEsX9iDD

Loro Piana doesn't pay their farmers in Peru fair trade prices either. The next stage of luxury is shaking hands with and breaking bread with your farmer.
